LEGAL STATUS

The NUWPC was registered with the company case No.17/51, volume IV/58, page 186, into the Co-operative Register with the Sofia City Court.

The Union , as a national organization, is a voluntary association of producer co-operatives , unions and other organizations in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.Its objective is to support , protect and represent the interests of its members before the state , juridical, economical , publics and international authorities and organizations.The Union operates on the basis of the law on Co-operatives adopted in 1991 and on the Statutes, on the fundamental of which the principles of co-operative democracy are laid: voluntary association , equality in powers and duties, collective management bodies, mutual help and collaboration,  self-funding.
